Work with us

We are delighted that you are considering applying for a role at Â鶹Éçmadou and hope that you will take a moment to read our 'Information for Prospective Staff' which can be downloaded from the bottom of this page. We warmly invite you to apply for any job opportunities advertised on the Vacancies page and look forward to welcoming you to the school.

St Clement Danes has a nationally recognised reputation. Designated a National Teaching School by the National College for Teaching and Leadership in 2013, we have sustained our collaborative endeavour over time to promote exceptional standards of education. Our partnerships ensure we are at the cutting edge of developments in teaching and learning and facilitate a close working relationship with the Department for Education. They also ensure that our colleagues have access to superb training opportunities, enabling them to develop as practitioners, whatever their field. It is no accident that our staff retention figures are so healthy, nor that so many of our leadership roles are filled from current staff or those who choose to return to the school.

Danes Educational Trust currently comprises nine schools: Â鶹Éçmadou, Croxley Danes School, Chancellor’s School, Onslow St Audrey’s School, De Havilland Primary School, Elstree Screen Arts Academy, Jupiter Primary School, Ascot Road Primary School and Lanchester Primary School. Dr Josephine Valentine OBE is the CEO of Danes Educational Trust. Headteacher of Â鶹Éçmadou for 20 years, she is a National Leader of Education, a DfE Advisor, a member of the RSC Advisory Board for the East of England from September 2022, and has oversight of all nine schools.

For teachers looking for their first school, or one in which to grow their careers, Danes Educational Trust also provides first-rate training through Danes Educational Trust: The Partnership and has to be one of the most exciting prospects in the South East of England.
